Event:: Hunger Games

Who isn't excited for Hunger Games to come out next week?  My little mister asked if there was a midnight show so he could go. 

I came across these photos on Biz Bash from the Hunger Games premiere party at LA Live and have to say, wowzers!  Wait, is that even a word?

Chris Benarroch of Benarroch Productions & Greco Decor created the virtual forest with gold fabric columns that paid homage to the film's climatic scene.  I can't wait to see what it actually looks like in the movie.  What I love is the simplicity of the furniture.  It's not overdone and it makes the fabric columns even more dramatic.  (Hey Chris - if you ever need some help with events - call me.)

As far as centerpieces go - they didn't go for the little plants on the tables.  Oh no - not for a premiere of this magnatude.  They went for the 100 foot tall oak tree for the parties centerpiece.  Now that's making a statement - don't you think?
