Encouragement:: Feelings

Feelings...

Ever have one of those weeks when you are full of emotion...geez it seems like I've been having lots of those.  I love this quote because your feelings are like waves.  Sometimes the surf can be calm and other times those waves can be 20ft and they keep coming.

My week has been more like 10 footers coming in.  Lots happening.  But what I'm realizing is how to deal with each of these waves.  One minute your excited, the next you're wondering how you're going to get it done, the next you feel guilty.  One can wallow in a pity party all day, but like this quote says - "we can't stop them from coming, but we can choose which one to surf."

Well I'm choosing.  This has been my week so far...

I've had the best week on this little blog this week.  More traffic in the last two days then I would get in a month.  I know - it's crazy.  Everyone wants to know what is Ms. Kim of TomKat Studio's Carry-On Bag.  I'm hoping people come back now that they might have made a little discovery of this blog.  But most of all, I'm grateful.

We've gotten more clients calling wanting us to handle more of their events.  Again - really grateful.

I've ran the last 3 days and it feels so good and has let me clear my head.

I'm choosing to surf the good waves.  There will be bumps and if I keep going with this surfing analogy - I'll pick some not so great waves and fly off a few times.  But, I'll get back on and find another wave.

So today, I encourage you to pick your waves...because you don't have to do it all.  You have to do what's right for you.
