Words: Let's Be Adventurers

Happy Monday friends!  We just came off a fun-filled and relaxing weekend.  The mister and I got away this weekend.  We headed up to Napa while the little mister was away at Winter Camp.  To say that we needed this little getaway was an understatement.  We get so caught up in our everyday lives, we forget that we need to spend quality time with each other.

This weekend also gave me time to think about this little blog.  Work and life got really busy the second half of last year and there was only so much inspiration I could muster.  I have to admit, I was caught in that "comparison/I'm not good enough" bubble.  But on Friday, something pretty neat happened.  I was participating in an online ALT Summit class and a couple of people that were participating said that they loved this little blog (my blog) and that just made.my.day!  Well, I'm definitely feeling refreshed and hope you enjoy the coming months.

Each Monday, we're going to kick start the week with inspiring words.

Don't get stuck just going through the motions of life or your job.  It's time to step out of your box - be adventurous.  It can be scary.  I have a lot of ideas buzzing in my head right now about where I want to take ROAR.  And trust me - my ideas scare the heck out of me, but they also excite me.  Don't worry, we will still be creating amazing event experiences for our clients.  I just know that there is more that we can offer.  I'm not exactly sure what this year is going to bring, but I know it's going to be an adventure and I'm excited for the ride.  I'm excited to discover new things, new places, new business opportunities, and new friends.

Are you trying to step out of your box? Have something that you want to work on but scares you?  I'd love to know.  We're all in the same boat and should support one another, don't you think?

So head on out and make it an amazing week!
