Sunday Coffee Sippin'

Happy Sunday everyone!

Doesn't this photo just make you smile?  It does for me. Hope you all had a fabulous weekend.  It was nice and quiet around here.  Lots of time to catch up on my reading.  Was able to get in a little sun time by the pool.  Had an impromptu early dinner date with a friends.  How about you?

On to this weeks Sunday Coffee Sippin' Reads...

15 Secrets to a Happy Marriage on Huffington Post (via Cup of Jo).  I would say I have some work to do, I only do about 1/2 of these.  How about you?

I'm still thinking about this fun little table I put together…all based on the menu which I used for inspiration.

Loving this 1950's inspired wedding via 100 Layer Cake.  For some reason - it reminds me of Kate Spade.

Love Is All You need is one of the prettiest tumblrs I've seen in a long time.

Great resource tips from Bri at DesignLoveFest.  Wondering what the name of a font is or how to use google images to give proper credit.  You can find out.

Sunday Coffee Sippin'

Happy Sunday!!  Have you all recovered from the Cinco de Mayo activities?

This has been a busy week.  Just finished up a roadshow series for a client and it was a huge success for them.  Finalized the new ROAR logo with Amanda Genther Designs and starting to work on the new website.  Kinda exciting!!

Now I'm off to enjoy a relaxing Sunday.  Here are my coffee sippin' reads of the week.

A DIY Mother's Day message for your mom via a Subtle Revelry.

Loving all the home inspiration at this new little discovery - Sweet Home Style.

Forget balloon poodles - how about some fruit via Oh! Happy Day.

This must have been kitchen week in the blogosphere.  Loving Alaina's kitchen inspirations over at Live Creating Yourself & Made By Girls, Erin from Apartment 34's big kitchen and Caitlin from Sacramento Street's small kitchen were talking about how to style your kitchen countertop over at the Everygirl.  Inspiration galore!!

I would have liked to be a guest at this Mother's Day Brunch from A Cup of Jo & Pinhole Press.

I'm curling up with the new issue of Rue!  Oh and have you seen the latest issue of Matchbook Magazine?

A Taco fiesta as a first birthday? So fun over at 100 Layer Cake.

The next time I'm in LA - I'm gonna have to head to Joan's On 3rd.  Thanks Dust Jacket Attic for the introduction.

Talking about things is great - but you need to put some action behind those words.  Wise words from Making Things Happen.  And if you need a reminder of what fires you up - Emily from Making Things Happen made this great printable so you will always be reminded.

Privet House at Target - yes please.

Sunday Coffee Sippin'

Happy Sunday everyone.  I've had a couple of relaxing days after a super busy week and the weather has been glorious.  Rain is in the forecast, so I'm soaking in as much sun as I can.  I'm looking forward to being back on my schedule.  I was so busy last week that I have a ton of catching up to do in my google reader.

So cheers to coffee and the time change (yay! for it staying lighter later).

I love A Cup of Jo's tips to keep the spark alive with date nights.

I wanna make these Black Bottom Cupcakes from Bakerella.

These tissue lanterns are so adorable from Oh Happy Day.  We just used a bunch for an event - they add so much personality to a room.

Fifi Cheek did stunning round-up of backyard oasis'.  I'd love to call one of them my own.

Love flowers but can never remember the name?  Wedding Chicks did a great flower guide.

Do you set boundaries?  This is something I'm really working on.

Erin from House of Earnest did a fab job with her shelf build-out and she did a fun little video to show you how to style it.

How Sweet It Is did a seriously delicious looking Smoky White Bean Chicken Chili that I'm gonna have to make this week.

I'm dying over all the crazy, unexpected elements of this wedding over at 100 Layer Cake and going to figure out how to incorporate them into corporate events.

Now this is a unique spin on a  home office via Miss Design.

I could use as much help as possible when it comes to accessorizing necklaces (events, I'm fine) - this is a great little lesson from Pencil Shavings Blog.
